Who can play Dublin Little League?
Anyone who lives within the town boundaries of Dublin can play Dublin Little League (zip code 94568). There are some exceptions for players who attend school in Dublin but live outside the town boundaries. Email the league president at email@example.com if you have questions about these exceptions.
When does the 2017 Spring Season start and end?
The upper level season (AA, AAA, Majors) will run from approximately February 1-May 20 with post season running from May 21-June 3.
The lower level season (T-ball, Rookie, A) will run from approximately March 1-May 20.
When and where are the team practices and games?
Specific practice times are set by team managers after teams are assigned in mid February. Below are general time commitments and locations for each level.
- Tball and Rookie will have one hour long weeknight practice and one Saturday game on the Dublin Sports Ground baseball fields.
- Single A and AA will have one weeknight practice, one weeknight game, and one Saturday game on the Dublin Sports Ground baseball fields.
- AAA and above will typically will have one weeknight practice, one weeknight game and one Saturday game at Fallon Sports Park.

What level or division should I register my player for?
Below are general age and ability explanations that will help you decide. If you have any questions or are uncertain, please email our Player Agent at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dublin Little League includes T-Ball, Rookie, Minors (A, AA, AAA), Majors, Juniors, Seniors, and Big League Divisions for ages 5 to 18, and is divided into the following levels of play.
T-Ball Program: This is instructional baseball and game scores are not recorded. Players in this division are typically league age 5 and 6. At this level the ball is hit from a tee.
Rookie Program: This is instructional baseball and game scores are not recorded. Players in this division are typically league age 6 and 7, although DLL allows players of this skill level up to age 8. At this level the ball is hit from a tee for the first half of the season and then from coach pitch.
Minor A: Players in this division are typically league age 7 and 8. At this level, the ball is pitched by a coach the first four games of the season, and then by players the remainder of the season.
Minor AA: This is the first division that teams play competitively, with players pitching, official umpires, game scoring, team standings and playoffs. Players in this division are generally league age 8 to 10, and are selected for teams based on player evaluations by team managers in a player draft.
Minor AAA: Players in this division are league age 9 to 12, and are selected for teams based on player evaluations by team managers in a player draft.
Majors Program: Players in this division are League Age 10, 11 and 12 are selected for teams based on player evaluations by team managers in a player draft. Majors is the highest level of play in Little League for ages 12 and under.
Juniors, Seniors, and Big League Program: Players at the Juniors division must be league age 13 and 14, the Seniors level division must be league age 15 and 16, and the Big League division player must be league age 17 and 18. The Juniors play on 80' and 90' diamonds while the Seniors and Big League play on a 90' diamond. Baseball diamonds are measured by the distance between bases. Players are selected by team managers based on a tryout. The most common situation is that 13 year olds coming from Majors will be drafted into the Junior 80's program while 2nd year 14 year olds will be drafted into the Junior 90's program.

How do the volunteer hours work?
Each family is required to fulfill 12 hours of volunteer work in order to receive the $200 volunteer deposit back. The deposit is typically mailed to the address you provided at registration after post season play in completed in late June or early July. The manager, two assistant coaches, and two team parents automatically fulfill those hours in their roles. Others must log hours with field prep, snack bar, fair play, scorekeeping, Jamboree help. Each family must submit proper volunteer documentation through the team parent at the end of the season.

What is the refund policy?
For our Spring Leagues:
â— A full refund will be issued if postmarked before January 14th
â— 50% refund will be issued if postmarked between January 15th and February 15th
â— No refunds will be issued after February 16th
â— A refund will only be issued if a refund request has been turned in

There are no partial refunds due to inclement weather. The Board will adjust the season in order to provide the children with a full season. Please ensure that you are registering with the correct Little League. The refund policy will apply even if you have signed up with our league in error.

Logging In for the First Time?
As we move to our new Integrated League Management System, we appreciate that you may have questions about logging in for the first time.
While we have tried to make the process as easy as possible for our existing families by converting the information from our previous system, it also means that the answers will differ based on your particular situation.
In general, appreciate that our system consists of Users (parents and guardians who actually login to the system) and Players (their children who play in the League.) Users are linked to the Players, which gives them access rights to view player information and to perform actions such as registration. However, a user must first log into the system with a valid email address and password in order to access the player information they are linked to.
If your child is playing in our League this year, the parent /guardian who registered your child provided contact information, including their email address, during registration. This information was used to create a user account for that parent / guardian in our new system, with the appropriate access to each child registered. If information was provided for a second parent, including email address, both parents were setup in the new system for the registered players.
Communications have been sent to the converted parent email addresses that allow you to assign your password and to access your player information by using the link in the communication. This is the easiest way to login for the first time.
My child is registered but I didn't receive an email with a link to verify my information and create my password.
You can still assign your password and login by using the "Don't know your password?" link from the bottom of the login box on the left hand side and following the instructions.
I don't know which email address I used to register my child.
When you use the "Don't know your password?" link, you will be prompted for the email address you need the password for. If the address you enter is in the system, it will email you a link to complete the process. Otherwise, it will tell you that the address is not valid in the system, and allow you to try a different one.
I don't have access to the email address I used during registration and therefore can't receive the email to reset the password.

My spouse registered our child, but I'm the one that should really be receiving the emails during the season.
It's not a problem for both of you to receive email information about your child.
First, use this link to register as a new user. This will enable you to log in to the system.
Once you are created as a user in the system, someone with existing rights to the player has to give you access by authorizing you on the player screen. They can do this by logging in and going to Parent Information->Player and clicking on the player you need rights to. Use the "Provide Access Rights to an Additional User" button to enter the email address of your login.
You will need to repeat that last process if you have multiple players.
I only entered my email address during registration. How does my spouse now get access?
If the email information for only one parent/guardian was provided during registration, it is not a problem to add your spouse as a user with rights to your players.
First, have them use this link to register as a new user. This will enable them to login to the system. It will also be able to tell them if there was an account created for them, but maybe the email wasn't delivered. Just follow the instructions on the screen.
Once your spouse is created as a user in the system, someone with existing rights to the player has to give them access by authorizing them on the player screen. You can do this after you have logged in by going to Parent Information->Player and clicking on the player you wish to give them rights to. Use the "Provide Access Rights to an Additional User" button to enter the email address your spouse used to create their login.
You will need to repeat that last process if you have multiple players.
When I registered my child, I realize that I used the same email address for both parents.
When you assign your password to your account, you can change the parent information to that most appropriate for that email address.
You don't have to have more than one parent registered in the system, but, by having separate email addresses, both parents can receive information on topics such as upcoming season registrations and informational emails during the season, including timely situations such as rainouts. As your email login also identifies your volunteer activities for the League, it is also how we will be assigning appropriate access rights for team staff and League officials.
My spouse and I each registered a child under our individual email address, and we each only have access to that child.
You each just need to provide access rights to the player the other parent registered.
You can do this after you have logged in by going to Parent Information->Player and clicking on the player you wish to give them rights to. Use the "Provide Access Rights to an Additional User" button to enter the email address your spouse used to create their login.
You will need to repeat the process for the player each parent registered.
